Tim Close

Tim is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. He started his nurse training at the University of Sheffield in 1998, and returned to university to attain his prescribing qualification and a Master’s Degree (MMedSci in Advanced Nursing – General Practice).

Tim has experience working in emergency care in Sheffield until 2006. He then worked pre-hospital, primary care and emergency care as a Senior Nurse onboard Cruise Ships from 2006 until 2014. He has also worked as a Medic on oil rigs in Vietnam and Singapore.

Tim has been working as an ANP in primary care in Sheffield since 2015.
