NHS Digital Data Provision Notice – GP Data for Planning and Research
We have recently been made aware of a Data Provision Notice sent to GP Practices issued by NHS Digital as part of the development of GP Data for Planning and Research (GPDPR). It is a replacement of the existing GP Extraction Service (GPES) to collect data for planning and research from general practices in England. The collection will start on the 1st July 2021.
As it is a direction from the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to NHS Digital, it is a legal obligation to comply with the Notice and more information can be found here:
